Steps to make Garlic Asparagus and Orzo:
  1. Prepare orzo according to package directions
  2. Add asparagus tips to the orzo during the last two minutes of cooking
  3. Remove from heat and drain
  4. While the orzo cooks, prepare the garlic butter sauce
  5. Add butter to the skillet and melt over medium heat
  6. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, or until lightly browned. Do not burn the garlic.
  7. Add the orzo and asparagus to the skillet; stir in cheese, milk, parsley, salt and pepper.
  8. Cook for one minute more, or until heated through.

Bring a large sauce pan of water (filled about halfway) to a boil over medium heat. Continue to stir so the garlic doesn't burn. Then, stir in the prepared orzo and asparagus stalks, along with the cheese, milk, parsley, salt and pepper. Cook Orzo - Place the chicken broth and water in a large pot and bring to a boil. Add the salt and turmeric and bring back to a boil.
