  1. Take 1/2 lb ground beef
  2. Take 1/2 lb Italian sausage
  3. Take 1 small package of sliced or diced pepperoni
  4. Get 12 lasagna noodles (3 extra if any breakage)
  5. Make ready 1 jar prego chunky garden spaghetti sauce
  6. Get 1/2 jar prego sausage spaghetti sauce
  7. Make ready 1-12 oz. can manwich sauce

  9. Make ready 1/2 of green pepper, diced
  10. Prepare 1 tbsp minced garlic or 2 cloves
  11. Make ready 1 tbsp onion powder
  12. Get 3 tbsp season salt
  13. Take 1 tbsp black pepper or to taste
  14. Get 2 tbsp olive oil
  15. Make ready 1 (8 oz.) package of shredded pepper jack cheese or 6 sandwich slices
  16. Take 1 (4 oz.) package of shredded parmesean cheese
  17. Get 1 (8 oz.) package of shredded Italian blend cheese

This lasagna has been a saving grace for our family, making large portions at little cost. It has also been the meal we have taken to friends and family to celebrate or to cheer up. This lasagna is a delicate mixture of cheese, noodles, and sauce that dissolve in your mouth with every bite. Made with organic pasta and vegetables.

Steps to make Amy's Lasagna:
  1. This recipe is very hearty, cheesy & meaty.
  2. Heat olive oil & place green peppers & onions. Cook for almost 10 minutes, then add garlic.
  3. After about 5 minutes add all meats. Cook until brown, then drain grease in a colander. When drain place back into pot.
  4. In mean time start boiling noodles as directed on package, then drain in colander.
  5. In a bowl, mix all sauces together. Then you're ready to assemble.
  6. Preheat oven to 400°.
  7. In a 13x9 in. pan place a little sauce in bottom of pan so noodles won't stick.
  8. Put down first layer of 3 noodles, then 1/2 meat mixture. Put 1/3 amt sauce on top, then 1/2 package of both Italian blend cheese & pepper jack. If you don't have shredded then save pepper jack for next layer.
  9. Repeat step #8, then put last layer of noodles on top. If you didn't have the shredded pepper jack, add the slices in this step.
  10. Pour rest of sauce on top & then all of parmesean cheese.
  11. Cover with foil & bake for 30 minutes. Then take off foil & bake for 10 more minutes.
  12. Serve with salad, garlic bread, or veggies.
