To begin with this particular recipe, we have to prepare a few components. You can have falafel using 11 ingredients and 3 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Falafel:
  1. Get 1 cup chickpeas (soaked overnight)
  2. Prepare 1 cup parsley or coriander
  3. Get 2 cloves garlic
  4. Get 1 small onion
  5. Prepare 2 green chilies
  6. Make ready 1/2 tsp baking powder
  7. Prepare 2 tbsp flour
  8. Get 1 tsp crushed coriander seeds
  9. Take 1 tsp cumin

Steps to make Falafel:
  1. Add all the ingredients into a chopper or juicer blender and blend together to make a thick paste. Add just a little water at a time.
  2. Then add 1 tbsp heaped of the paste into medium heated pan and deep fry.
  3. Fry till nice brown in colour and serve with Hummus or in any sandwich or with Pita bread.
