Falafels is one of the most popular of recent trending foods in the world. It’s enjoyed by millions every day. It is simple, it is fast, it tastes delicious. They are fine and they look fantastic. Falafels is something that I’ve loved my entire life.

To get started with this recipe, we must prepare a few ingredients. You can cook falafels using 13 ingredients and 7 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Falafels:
  1. Prepare 400 g chickpeas - soaked
  2. Prepare 1 onions
  3. Take 3 cloves garlic
  4. Prepare 1 bunch parsley - chopped
  5. Take 1 bunch coriander- chopped
  6. Take 1 tsp baking soda
  7. Prepare 1 tsp cumin seeds/ powder
  8. Prepare 1/2 tsp black pepper

  12. Take 1 lemon - juiced
  13. Prepare Cooking oil
Instructions to make Falafels:
  1. Gather all your ingredients together
  2. Place all ingredients apart from cooking oil into a food processor. Pulse until you get a texture that is slightly rough.
  3. Put in a bowl, place in a fridge or a cool place for 30 minutes.
  4. Using a tablespoon or your hands, scoop the mixture and shape into balls or disks.
  5. Heat cooking oil in a cooking pot.
  6. Deep fry the falafels until they turn a beautiful brown colour each side.
  7. Remove from oil and enjoy it cold, warm or hot.
