The ingredients needed to make Falafel:
  1. Prepare 400 gm Dried chickpeas
  2. Take 1 onion
  3. Make ready 3-4 garlic cloves
  4. Take 1/2 bunch coriander
  5. Make ready 1/2 bunch mint leaves
  6. Prepare 1 cup green part of spring onion
  7. Prepare 4 tbsp bread crumbs
  8. Take Salt to taste
  9. Get 1 tsp cumin powder
  10. Prepare 1 tsp black pepper powder
  11. Take 1 tsp paprika powder
  12. Get 1 tsp red chilli powder
  13. Get 2 tsp baking soda
  14. Take Oil for frying
Instructions to make Falafel:
  1. Washed and soaked dried chickpeas in water for overnight.
  2. Then wash and drain. - Put washed and drained chickpeas and food processor.
  3. Add onion, garlic cloves,coriander, mint leaves,baking soda and spices
  4. Process until smooth and crumbly.
  5. Transfer to a large bowl add bread crumbs and mix well until combined.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  7. Heat oil and make a hand shape 1-inch ball.
  8. Fry until Golden and crispy about 3-4 mins. Transfer into paper towels.
