  6. When squash is done take a fork and gently shred out the spaghetti squash length wise. Put on a plate add sauce, the parsley and cheese.

Cook until the meat has browned, then mix in the marinara and diced tomatoes. Cut the squash in half, lengthwise (from the longest end to end). Use a sturdy spoon to scoop out the seeds. Spaghetti squash is easily prepared in the oven–just cut it in half and bake it until the skin is easily pierced with a fork. You can then use it as a low-carb pasta substitute or turn it into salads.
