A rich, creamy stroganoff that's even better reheated the next day. This recipe started from an old cookbook of my mother's. It's evolved over the years and is now a family favorite. This recipe easily doubles or triples for larger groups or freezing.

The ingredients needed to make stroganoff:
  1. Take 3 lb beef rouladen
  2. Take 2 packages egg noodles
  3. Make ready 1 can mushrooms
  4. Prepare 8 oz cream cheese
  5. Take 2 can cream of mushroom soup
  6. Get 1 cup milk
  7. Prepare 1/4 cup frozen corn

With all that flavor, you might assume it's a complicated dish, but it's actually quite the opposite. Stir in the flour, salt and paprika. Bite-size strips of tender steak and bits of mushrooms simmer in a thick sour cream sauce that coats every bite. Served over a bed of buttery egg noodles, it's a fast, filling, and no-fuss family meal.

Instructions to make stroganoff:
  1. slice beef in bite size bites and put in large skillet and saute in water enough to cook meat till done
  2. boil water in stock pot and when rapidly boiling add noodles till done and drain return to pan
  3. when meat is done add rest of ingredietns except noodles cook till thick and creamy.
  4. transfer sauce to noodle pan and stir till nice and thick covered noodles enjoy

Served over a bed of buttery egg noodles, it's a fast, filling, and no-fuss family meal. In a large skillet, quickly brown them on both sides in the olive oil and butter. Remove the steak from the pan. Add the onion slices and mushrooms to the pan drippings.
