Instructions to make Gnocchi:

  5. Cut the gnocchi in even size. You can add a nice pattern to it with a fork or wooden tool but I didn’t bother this time. If you need to let them on the side for a while before cooking make sure you add a lot of flour.
  6. Start to add the gnocchi to the pan, bear in mind that you will need to make multiple batches, they need to be evenly spread in the pan so that they don’t stick on top of each other. They cook really quick within a few minutes, when they float they are ready, take a spoon or spatula with holes in it and scoop them out
  7. Here we made them with a simple tomato sauce but you can make them in many ways, with butter and sage is my favourite or ragout or cream and ham, ricotta and spinach… lots of options!!
