Hello everybody, it’s John, welcome to our recipe site. Today, we’re going to prepare a special dish, falafel and hummus. One of my favorites food recipes. This time, I am going to make it a little bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Falafel and Hummus is one of the most popular of recent trending foods on earth. It is easy, it’s quick, it tastes yummy. It’s enjoyed by millions every day. Falafel and Hummus is something that I have loved my whole life. They’re fine and they look wonderful.

To get started with this particular recipe, we have to first prepare a few components. You can have falafel and hummus using 15 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Falafel and Hummus:
  1. Make ready 1cup Falafel-chickpeas
  2. Take 4-5 garlic with skin, cumin
  3. Take As needed Parsley +coriander leaves
  4. Take as per taste Salt
  5. Take 1tsp baking soda
  6. Make ready 1onion chopped,
  7. Take 1tbsp besan (gram flour) or (maize flour) can be added if it it doesn’t bind
  8. Take 1-2 deseeded green chili (it’s optional)
  9. Prepare Hummus-
  10. Get 1/2 cup boiled chickpeas. You can increase the quantity if you wish
  11. Get 1-2 Garlic without skin
  12. Make ready 1cup olive oil
  13. Prepare 1 tbsp sesame seeds - roasted you can add tahini sauce if you have, otherwise adding sesame seeds to it gives the same flavor
  14. Get as per taste Salt
  15. Get 1 Lemon juice
Steps to make Falafel and Hummus:
  1. For hummus soak the chickpeas, boil it, cool it, and grind it a mixie with all the ingredients mentioned above. Note- don’t add water, if it is difficult to grind. Add olive oil and then grind. Make it into a fine smooth paste.
  2. Falafel- soak the chickpeas, drain it and grind it with all the ingredients mentioned above. In a chopper you can do. It’s should be coarse. Keep it for 1hrs.
  3. Make balls out of it, if not binding add besan to it or maize flour.
  4. Heat oil and fry it till golden brown. You can also fry it in air fryer. Preheat the air fryer at 180, keep it for 7mins.
  5. Your falafel is ready.
  6. The light colored falafel is air fried, while the dark colored is fried in oil.
