To get started with this particular recipe, we must first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook chickpeas using 8 ingredients and 3 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Chickpeas:
  1. Get 1/2 tsp ginger and garlic paste
  2. Prepare 1/4 tsp green chilli paste (you can add more if you like it spicy)
  3. Prepare 1/2 tsp black mustard seeds
  4. Make ready 1/4 tsp yellow powder (asafoetida)
  5. Get 1 few curry leaves
  6. Prepare 1 onion, chopped
  7. Make ready 1 fresh coriander chopped
  8. Take 1 can boiled chickpeas
Steps to make Chickpeas:
  1. Heat oil in a wok or pan and add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  2. Then add boiled chickpeas with green chillies, ginger and garlic paste and yellow powder.
  3. Then leave it for 10 mins on low heat and then take it out on a serving plate and garnish with chopped onion and coriander.
