  5. Prepare 1 shredded chedder cheese
  6. Make ready 1 tortilla strips

To make this salsa chicken, just pop some raw chicken in a slow cooker. (I didn't want to mess with bones, so went with chicken breasts for easy shredding.) Then cover it with lots of your favorite salsa. These green chicken enchiladas are so simple to make. With salsa verde, chicken, sour cream, cheese, and cilantro, they are a tasty, quick, and easy dinner. Crockpot Salsa Chicken can be served over rice, with tortilla or corn chips, douse with cheese The chicken falls apart and becomes immensely tender, flavored with the familiar flavors of chunky salsa.

Steps to make Salsa Chicken:
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray pan or glass dish with non stick spray.
  2. Sprinkle taco seasoning over chicken. (I try to coat it on both sides) place in oven for 20 mins. May take longer depending on thickness of chicken.
  3. After 20 mins add the jar of salsa and sprinkle chedder cheese over chicken. Place back in the oven till the cheese has melted usually another 10 mins.
  4. After chicken is done pour spicey ranchero sauce over chicken and sprinkle tortilla strips on top.
  5. I usually make Spanish Rice with it and its delish!! Hope you enjoy ☺
